Teks yang bertujuan untuk membujuk pembaca ini memang sering digunakan sehari-hari. Karena bersifat persuasif/membujuk, teks argumentasi banyak berisi opini penulis. Opini di sini tidak sembarangan karena harus bersifat logis. Namun teks argumentasi tidak hanya berisi opini tetapi juga didasari fakta serta contoh pendukung agar dapat diterima. Struktur Teks Argumentasi sendiri terdiri dari:

2. Isi berupa pemaparan opini (pendapat, alasan) serta fakta (bukti,  contoh) yang mendukung pendapat penulis,

3. Penutup yang berisi kesimpulan dari semua opini dan fakta dan ditujukan untuk membujuk pembaca mempercayai argumentasi penulis.

Do you like vegetables? most people would answer no. Although vegetables are needed by the body, unfortunately many people do not like it. Various reasons then arise, most all of them say that the taste of vegetables somewhat bitter. So, many people do not eat vegetables. But there are a lot of benefits of vegetables for us.  The benefits of vegetables are disease prevention, weight control, and nutritional needs.

Vegetables are loaded with nutrients that protect against disease. Vegetables reduce the risk of heart disease, while the American Heart Association reports that they help control blood pressure. Elevated blood pressure increases your risk of having a heart attack or stroke. A diet that includes vegetables may also reduce the risk of cancer, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Then vegetables also provide the essential of vitamins and minerals.

Most vegetables are low in calories and high in fiber. Fiber fills you up without causing weight gain. Studies show that people who eat more fiber-rich foods, such as vegetables, weigh less than those who avoid fiber, reports the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Plus, feasting on veggies won’t leave much room for fattening, high-calorie fare. Another way veggies help keep you slim: foods with rich fiber are digested more slowly than other foods, which helps decrease the reduction of blood sugar that can lead to snacking and weight gain.

Nutritionists recommend eating vegetables in a rainbow of colors. Each plant pigment provides specific nutritional needs benefits. The lycopene in tomatoes, watermelon and pink grapefruit, have been shown to defend against prostate cancer, while the beta-carotene in carrots, sweet potatoes and pumpkin promotes good vision and healthy mucous membranes. Vegetables also stimulate your taste buds, provide many different sensations in your mouth and add a burst of color to your meals.

From all above the benefits, we should not hesitate to eat vegetables. There are so many benefit of vegetables, so what for we avoid it. Let’s eat vegetables from now.
